Easter and Brooklyn's 1st Birthday

Since Brooklyn's 1st birthday was so close to Easter this year we decided to just celebrate her at the different family parties that we had. What a fun time celebrating!  At the first party she wasn't too sure about eating her cake but by the end she loved it. Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you so much!

"Hip Hip Hooray!" Opa led the first cheer in honor of Brooklyn.
Not too sure about eating the cake

Off to the races at the first Easter egg hunt of the season.
Not too bad Bailey, not to bad...
Present time!
16 great-grand kids for my Grandpa George and Grandma Colleen.
And we managed to get them to all stand in age order!

Happy birthday to you...
She now loves cake!
Yummy!
She is such a sweet girl!  I love her so much!
We can't believe she is 1!

They found their baskets!
Everyone was excited about taking pictures except Brooklyn.  Haha.
Maybe this is why she doesn't really like group pictures?

Bailey's Birthday and Palm Springs

Well, it's been awhile again but here is a little update of how our month of March finished out.  Bailey turned three on March 9th and we got to celebrate in Palm Springs this year.  She got rainbow pancakes for breakfast, got to pick out something special at the candy store and we went to a special birthday dinner.  We were in Palm Springs to watch a tennis tournament so it was fun to celebrate with all of the family who went down to watch tennis. It was a fun time of relaxing, going on walks and bike rides (Jace learned how to ride a bike without training wheels), swimming and spending a lot of quality time with our family.  Enjoy the pictures.  I'll be posting another blog about Easter soon!

This is the sucker that Bailey picked out for her birthday.  It was
almost as big as her head!

We spent the afternoon of Bailey's birthday swimming in the
pool with lots of cousins.

Bailey and Brooklyn got new matching swim suits.

Aunt Kristina thought it would be fun to end the night with an evening swim.  What a fun aunt!

There was the coolest kids museum that the kids loved visiting.
This is an archaeology exhibit where they got to dress up and
dig up dinosaur bones.

Making pizzas at the pretend pizza kitchen at the museum.

The museum grocery store.

Car painting at the museum.

The museum rock wall.

Some of the cousins made bracelets (notice Jace showing off his bracelet...) and
decided to sell them by the condos we stayed at.

We also celebrated Kyle's birthday.  Greg is doing a good job of preventing
the candles from getting blown out too soon :)

Jace asked Bailey if she would like to "Princess Dance" with him :)

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Hello Family and Friends,
We have been super busy around here so it has been awhile since I have updated the blog.  I don't have much time to sit down tonight but I wanted to share a few pictures with you.  Here is what we have been up to lately.  Enjoy!

The kids have been really into dinosaurs lately so
Brody picked up a few model dinosaurs and built them
with the kids.
My parents goat had twins so we have been over there a lot to see them.

Bailey is turning three in a few days!  Here are some pictures of her.

                                                               Brooklyn is 10 months old

My newest niece, Goldie Joyce Lehman born on February 28th

I just want to hold her all the time!

Ok, last one.  But she is so cute!
We celebrated Bailey's birthday a little bit early this year.  She
requested a princess party.

I wore this dress to a dress up bridal shower.  When Bailey saw me in
it she thought I looked like a princess and wanted me to wear it to
her party.

Just a few of the babies born in the last year enjoying their time at
Goldie's baby shower.

Jace, Bailey and Brooklyn meeting Goldie

Brooklyn loved her and Stet didn't want anyone near her.  He's
just being a good older brother :)

Brooklyn figured out how to feed herself a bottle
Jace and Bailey decided to dress themselves for winter, even though
it has been in the low 70's here.

Two little monkey's jumping on the bed.  Thankfully none fell off and bumped their head...

We have been having really nice weather and have been enjoying
playing at the river.

I celebrated my 29th birthday in early Februry.

More candid shots.  Fishing, eating berries, and playing super heroes.  Jace loves to pick me flowers and will pick them for me whenever he finds them.  In the bottom right picture I took Jace and Stetson on a walk to find worms in the puddles after a rain.  They loved it!

Well, that about sums up what we have been up to in the last month.  Hopefully I will have more
                   time to write next time.
